Axias has provided cost engineering including DD1391 validation and reconciliation, cost estimating during design using MCACES, and change order reviews Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), as well as scheduling, and cost and schedule risk analysis (CSRA) support to NAVFAC Southeast since 2019. Projects Axias has supported include:
Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay Trident Refit Facility. The project includes major repairs to the massive facility including the building structure and envelope, power, lighting, fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, and support equipment and infrastructure.
Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay Magnetic Silencing Facility Repairs. This project involves the repair of deteriorated facility components and supporting electrical distribution lines for the TRF Magnetic Silencing Facility.
MCSF Blount Island Lighterage Wharf & Lift-Launch Pier. This project at the facility in Jacksonville, FL includes new berthing, launch, and recovery facilities for the Navy Support Maintenance Branch at Blount Island Command.
NAS Key West and NAS Mayport. Cost engineering support for hurricane support and recovery efforts.
