Roosevelt Warm Springs | Facility Condition Assessment
Owner: Georgia State Finance & Investment Commission | Services: Condition Assessment & Cost Estimating
The Roosevelt Warm Springs (RWS) Campus consists of a Vocational Rehabilitation program, a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTCH), an Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital (IRF) and additional services provided by third parties for the benefit of people with disabilities. The 900-acre historic campus includes multiple cottages, many of which are in use for administrative and programmatic purposes. Axias completed an in-depth facility and building assessment and probable cost statement for 13 buildings on the campus. The buildings were selected to assist GVRA leadership in making decisions concerning program expansion and growth to support additional student training and income producing activities through tourism. The building assessments also identified historical preservation concerns, future facility needs, and to develop a master plan to modernize and extend the useful life of the buildings.
