Axias Awarded New Contract to Support BUILDER Sustainment Management System Cost Assembly Development

, ,

Axias has been awarded a new contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) to support the development of project item assemblies for the BUILDER Sustainment Management System (SMS). The work will deliver more than 4,000 assemblies using Government’s Micro-Computer Aided Cost Estimating System Second Generation (MII) to strengthen cost data and support infrastructure planning across the Department of Defense.

The award underpins Axias’ combined expertise in delivering high-quality facility assessments and cost engineering services. Most recently, Axias completed a BUILDER condition assessment for the 174th Air Wing of the New York Air National Guard, providing comprehensive facility data to inform sustainment, restoration, and modernization planning efforts. This project demonstrated Axias’ ability to adapt innovative assessment methodologies to mission-critical environments, ensuring accurate data collection and actionable recommendations.

“This newest contract award from CERL underscores the government’s confidence in our ability to deliver reliable, defensible cost data,” said Martin Jacobs, Principal. “We’re proud to continue supporting BUILDER and to leverage our expertise using the MII platform to improve the cost applications in the system.”
