Congratulations to John Adams His Promotion to Lead Cost Estimator! 

John is a key member of the Axias team supporting projects across all our sectors. From dry dock modernizations for NAVFAC to classroom renovations at UVA, John has done it all. Like several members of the Axias estimating team, John began his career in the construction trades and quickly developed a knack for the numbers.

John shared, “I think my favorite project so far has been working on the Sentinel missile systems for the US Air Force. The logistics are so complex, the subject matter is really interesting, and the work is so important to the country. I do have to say, overall, my best experience with Axias has been traveling to locations I would never have seen otherwise. Poland and Slovakia come to mind. Starting my career as just a typical construction guy, and then fast-forward a few years, and I’m in a hangar on a site visit in Europe, standing next to a surveillance drone. Pretty wild. It’s funny how with hard work and dedication, this industry can take you places you never imagined when you first picked up a tool belt.”
