Kennesaw State University Sports and Entertainment Park
This 88-acre multi-purpose sports and recreation park is located just outside the KSU main campus and is known as one of the finest recreation complexes available to students anywhere in the Southeast. Axias provided a facility condition assessment of the complex, including the Fifth Third Bank Stadium, The Owl’s Nest student fitness center, and The Perch intramural recreation facility. The Axias team assessed six artificial turf intramural/ practice fields, a natural turf rugby field, a 400-meter track, and various trails and paths throughout the complex. The assessment provided the client with a long-range capital and maintenance plan identifying the required expenditures over the next ten years. Project deliverables included:
A complete facility condition assessment report, containing assessments of site and building components, systems, and equipment
Budget cost estimates for needed repairs, renovations, or replacements
