This project involves renovations to the first floor of Building 1 housing phlebotomy, a waiting room, outpatient exams, check-in areas, and administrative offices. After renovation the space will be used by the dialysis clinic, with dedicated treatment, medication, and isolation rooms; a centralized nurses station and check-in area; storage and supply rooms; a biomedical equipment work room; and meeting and administrative office space.
The renovation also includes abatement of all hazardous materials and demolition of all existing utilities and architectural features to the outer cladding of the building.
