Axias provided full project management services inclusive of design and construction phase oversight for phased demolition and repair of an elevated parking structure at this now-closed hotel.
Finishes at the upper-level parking deck were selectively removed to allow structural repairs to the steel and concrete composite structure. Finishes and landscaping were restored after repairs were complete.
Critical project elements include design management, safety and logistics, budget and cost control, careful phasing and coordination with the ongoing operations of the hotel, and landscaping restoration at the upper parking deck islands and planters.
NOTE: The hotel closed in April 2020, a casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic.
