Maneel Patel, Cost Manager

Axias' Alexandria office welcomed Maneel Patel to its cost estimating team in September 2022.

Growing up in a family construction business in Gujarat, India, Maneel has always had an interest in construction which naturally led him to pursue a civil engineering degree. When his career brought him to the United States, his desire to work with those that create the changing skylines of cities led Maneel to pursue a master's degree in construction management from Northeastern University while working as an estimator for a local contractor. 

Since moving to Northern Virginia, Maneel has provided cost estimating services on many local projects, including K-12 schools in Loudoun and Montgomery County, as well as projects for George Mason University and the University of Virginia. Maneel notes his most memorable project so far as the $65 million renovation of the  Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. This experience will be beneficial as he joins our team focused on providing cost consulting services to the Smithsonian Institution.

In his leisure time, Maneel loves to hike, visit the beach, and show his skills in a volleyball match or two.
