Melissa Smith, Cost Manager 

She calls Maryland home now, but Melissa came to Axias in early 2019 straight from the land down under, where she worked as a quantity surveyor after graduating in 2012 from RMIT University in Melbourne with a Postgraduate Diploma in quantity surveying and a Bachelor of Applied Science (with honors) in construction management. Since joining us, her strengths in architectural, structural, and interiors estimating have been brought to bear with one of our key clients, the Smithsonian Institution, which she represents on our behalf. Melissa maintains a healthy work-life balance with hiking, tennis, and DIY crafts, but freely admits to spending major quality time watching Formula 1 GP with her family.
