Aaron Gofreed, Cost Estimator

As you might expect from someone with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wheeling Jesuit University and four years with the Bank of New York Mellon, Aaron is extremely detail-oriented whenever numbers are involved. He is proficient with MII, the second generation of MCACES (Micro-Computer Aided Cost Estimating System), advanced cost estimating software, and uses it when developing estimates for architectural, structural, and civil engineering disciplines.

 Since joining Axias in 2019 as a cost estimator, he has worked on a variety of projects for the U.S. Navy, the University of Virginia, the Smithsonian, and the National Park Service, and is an active participant on one of our largest projects, providing construction cost data worldwide for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

A big lacrosse fan and former coach of high school and college teams, Aaron also enjoys playing tennis, walking his dog Oscar, snowboarding, cooking, and family time.
